What can I say that hasn't already been said? Did he lie? Was he really hurt? I think this has been talked to death and there really isn't much more that I can say that hasn't already been beaten like a dead horse. All I know is He was VISIBLY unhappy here after the whole A-Rod mess. He could have taken the high road like Manny, who was a part of the same non-trade and yet shook it off and became more personably than he ever has before, mugging for the cameras and even giving interviews! Was is because Manny realized the alternatives to Boston were possible low interest markets and he like the excitement here as opposed to places like Texas, etc.? Maybe Nomar likes low interest markets who rather go to the local monster truck rallies. His thanks to the fan was also lacking sincerity...too bad he couldn't take a lesson from Bledsoe, who had every right to be bitter but left with class so that he will always be given a hearty round of applause in these parts. One last note, To Chicago....start looking for a shortstop because if you think Nomar's staying there its about as likely as a one-legged duck swimming in a straight line.
