That Was Easy.

Where’s that Staples button when you need it?

Well we swept the Angels in the ALDS, but considering a third of their starting line up was injured, it was kind of expected of us. The best part of the sweep was because I had a ticket to Game 5 through my ten pack, we got offered Game 2 of the ALCS tickets…at twice the price of the ALDS ones. What can I say, sacrifices must be made and if I have to live off mac and cheese for the rest of the month I’m going to my first ALCS game!!!!

And for once we don’t have to play the Yankees….dear lord, if I had to look at them one more time I would have had to gouge out my own eyeballs. We play them 18 times a season, the last two times we were in the ALCS we played against them, and we end up in a dead heat for the AL East with them almost every year. I don’t need to play them AGAIN this year…it’d actually be boring at this point. I’m actually glad to play Cleveland if only for the fact I know next to nothing about them and we only played them twice this year so when the Fox announces drag up inane stats like someone’s average during day games, on odd numbered dates, with the moon in the 7th house of Jupiter, at least it will be about someone other than A-Rod. Of course I’ll have conflicted feelings every time Trot comes to bat….in fact I don’t remember ever having to play a player I loved so much in the playoffs. Didn’t you just love the fact he hit a homer off of Clemens in their ALDS game?

Unfortunately I’ve been bedridden for the past 24 hours with some cold/flu hybrid that kicked me on my ass. Luckily, I’m feeling better now and for all you grabby hands out there I WILL be going to the game Saturday even if I have to drag and IV pole with 6 bags of antibiotics sticking out of my arm!!!!!!
